My Story

My Story

I have been in the fitness industry for 7 years. I started off as a Personal Trainer in your typical commercial gym and moved to a boutique training studio in London 5 years ago.

Alongside running my own Personal Training business, the first 3 years consisted of studying Law & Psychology at university too. After graduating, I decided to test the waters with entering the Law field (whilst still running the business). It may not come as a surprise to you but I soon realised that the fitness industry still had my heart. However, I knew that I couldn’t remain within this industry doing what I’ve always done.

Around the same time, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. After dealing with painful, heavy periods for years I basically decided to take matters in my own hands. I was not willing to accept that the only way forward was the choices presented to me by conventional medicine. I started doing lots of independent research which made me realise that although I am an athlete, I also need to start honouring my unique physiology as a woman. So, this is exactly what I did.

I am a NASM qualified Personal Trainer, certified Women’s Health Coach and I am currently studying functional nutrition. My psychology background provided me with a great base when it comes to behaviour change, and my knowledge broadened further through studying with the Integrative Women's Health Institute.

These qualifications are meaningless without the continued inner work and strength it has taken to get to this point. My entire training and health outlook pivoted. I knew that taking a holistic approach to health and fitness will be tough (especially given the societal narratives) but it is the way forward for women.

Being in a position to just witness the transformations that my clients go through makes me realise the importance of this work. I see the empowerment and strength that comes from a body literate woman, who harnesses the power of her menstrual cycle, whilst STILL hitting PB’s in the gym and levelling up in all aspects of her life.

The moment I started taking up space, was the moment I released how powerful I can be.

Now, it’s your turn.
